I’m currently working with a growing engineering consultancy that is looking to hire a Structural Engineer to join their team working on a variety of building structures projects across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–3 years’ experience within a UK structural consultancy who wants to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a broad range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, logistics and technology.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive engineering team where you’ll have the chance to develop technically, take on increasing responsibility, and work towards Chartered status.
As a Structural Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of building structures from concept through to construction.
- Designing structural solutions for a range of building projects
- Carrying out structural analysis and design calculations
- Producing drawings and technical documentation using design software
- Working with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad
- Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Attending site visits and inspections to review construction progress
- Supporting the delivery of projects through all stages of design and construction
Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience working in a UK structural engineering consultancy
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience working on building structures projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or similar structural design tools
