The Opportunity
We are recruiting Construction Managers and experienced Site Managers for a Tier 1, family-owned international contractor delivering large-scale projects (£90m+) across London. These projects cover residential, commercial, and healthcare sectors and offer a structured delivery environment with a long-term pipeline, strong client backing, and realistic programmes.
You will work alongside Senior Project Managers and Project Directors, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of key packages or sections of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and delivery
- Oversee multiple workfaces and subcontract packages
- Plan and implement site logistics and temporary works
- Lead site teams, mentor junior staff, and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to high quality standards
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Contribute to commercial and reporting requirements alongside the project team
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager with a main contractor
- Delivery experience on medium to large-scale projects (£20m–£120m)
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent understanding of programme management, site logistics, and risk management
- Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and CDM awareness
- Experience across residential, commercial, or healthcare sectors preferred
