BMS Supervisor – Central London - £50k - £60k per annum Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Project: Major Commercial Development We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Supervisor to join a major commercial project in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS professional to take a key site-based role, supervising the installation, testing, commissioning and closing out of BMS systems on a high-profile project. You will work closely with the BMS Manager, BMS subcontractors, M&E teams and commissioning teams to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with project specifications. The Role As BMS Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision and coordination of BMS activities on site, ensuring installation and commissioning works are completed to the required quality, safety and programme standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day BMS installation and commissioning activities on site Coordinate BMS works with mechanical, electrical and wider project teams Manage and monitor BMS subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly and to programme Monitor installation progress and identify potential delays, clashes and technical issues Carry out regular site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements Coordinate the installation and readiness of BMS panels, controls, field devices and associated systems Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and system troubleshooting Monitor snagging and drive the completion of outstanding works ahead of commissioning and handover Ensure site Health & Safety requirements are maintained across all BMS activities Attend coordination, progress and commissioning meetings as required Assist with resolving installation and commissioning issues with subcontractors and wider project teams Support project close-out, including QA documentation, O&M information, commissioning records and handover documentation About You We are looking for an experienced BMS professional with a strong practical background in the supervision of BMS installation and commissioning activities on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects. You will ideally have: Proven experience supervising BMS installation and commissioning activities Strong understanding of BMS controls, field devices, panels and systems integration Experience managing and coordinating BMS subcontractors on site Good knowledge of BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting Strong understanding of site quality, snagging and project close-out processes Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanical, electrical and commissioning teams Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive approach to resolving technical and site-based issues Qualifications A relevant Engineering, Electrical or Building Services qualification would be advantageous, although strong practical BMS experience will also be considered.
