Freelance Site Manager – Brighton

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a project in Brighton for an initial 12-week period. The project involves a complete strip-out and refurbishment, with the Site Manager working closely alongside the Project Manager and playing an active role in overseeing and assisting with the demolition phase.
Requirements
- The successful Site Manager will need to hold:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Temporary Works Supervisor / Temporary Works Coordinator qualification/card
- Previous experience managing refurbishment, strip-out and/or demolition works
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team
- A flexible approach to working hours as there will be weekend work available
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of the works, with a particular focus on the strip-out, demolition and refurbishment activities. You will need to be hands-on and have a good Health and safety record.
