Freelance Site Manager – Facade Remediation Project

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Rate: £280–£300 per day CIS

Duration: Ongoing, with the potential to become a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate

Start: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work as No.2 to the Project Manager on a major facade remediation project. You will take ownership of the facade package, overseeing the day-to-day delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The Role

  • Manage and oversee the facade remediation package from site.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager as the No.2 on the project.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour and site activities.
  • Monitor programme, quality and H&S compliance.
  • Attend site meetings and coordinate with the wider project team.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the client team.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Valid SMSTS.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Valid First Aid qualification.
  • Previous experience working for Tier 1 contractors.
  • Proven experience managing facade/remediation packages.
  • A stable career history with no excessive movement between employers.
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Package

£280–£300 per day CIS, depending on experience and suitability. The role is ongoing, with the potential to become a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Face-to-face interviews will be held during the next week, so candidates must be available to attend an interview at short notice.
