Skilled Careers have partnered with a leading contractor in East Sussex and are seeking an experienced, proactive Resident Liaison Officer with excellent communication and customer service skills.

The company: A Sussex based leading contractor that specialise in refurbishment contracts in occupied complexes across the East and West of the county.

The role: The resident liaison officer will be the primary point of contact between the project team and residents (private home owners, commercial tenants), leading clear communications and ensuring minimal disruption, successful access arrangements and smooth refurbishment process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work across 2 schemes running concurrently around the Brighton area.
  • Communicating with residents and commercial tenants to organise access to properties.
  • Visit premises to conduct surveys and establish what type of works may need to be carried out.
  • Be the bridge that minimises disruptions and ensure projects proceed in line with programme.
  • Collaborate with the project teams to ensure contract works are carried out to agreed timelines.
  • Handle complaints efficiently.
  • Keep project trackers updated in line with the programme of works.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer / Tenant Liaison Officer is essential.
  • Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and IT systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and organised.
  • Practical knowledge of health & safety.
