The Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced
  • Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship residential development in
  • Eastbourne , comprising

350 timber frame homes and four traditionally built apartment blocks .

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing housebuilder with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across the South East.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for programme delivery, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance across this major multi-phase project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a large-scale residential scheme from site commencement through to completion.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve programme milestones.
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the construction of timber frame housing and traditionally built apartment blocks.
  • Drive programme performance and proactively manage project risks.
  • Chair site meetings and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants and local authorities.
  • Monitor quality control procedures and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Work closely with commercial, technical and sales teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and building regulation requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of timber frame construction methods.
  • Experience managing multi-unit housing schemes and apartment blocks.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Track record of delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
