A leading Tier One Main Contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Essex, supporting a range of exciting construction projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with an established and highly regarded Tier One Main Contractor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of projects, working closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to deliver successful outcomes.
Ideally based in or around Essex, you will have experience working for a main contractor, particularly within a Design & Build environment, alongside a strong understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing tender allowances and supporting the commercial strategy.
- Measuring and valuing works from drawings and on site, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Preparing and submitting interim valuations in line with agreed valuation dates.
- Administering and advising on main contract and subcontract conditions.
- Preparing and submitting Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
