My client are a well-established Regional Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes across the region. They are seeking an experienced Senior Design/Technical Manager to lead technical and design coordination on residential projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
Role Overview
As a Senior Design/Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the technical design process from pre-construction through to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver exceptional residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Management: Oversee and coordinate all design aspects of residential projects from planning through to handover. Ensure designs meet planning, building regulations, and warranty provider requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and reports. Provide guidance and support to design teams and junior technical staff.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues. Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external partners.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to NHBC standards, Building Safety Act requirements, and company policies. Implement robust quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
