BMS Controls Engineer – Trend / Tridium / HVAC Systems London & Surrounds Full-Time | Permanent £45,000 – £52,000 + Company Benefits Ref: 79865 Join a Leading Facilities Management Team Are you an experienced BMS Controls Engineer looking for your next challenge We’re hiring for a mobile role across London and the South, working on a variety of commercial buildings including offices, hospitals, schools, and government sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge Building Management Systems (BMS), including Trend, Tridium/Niagara, and Distech, while contributing to smarter, more efficient building operations. Key Responsibilities Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on BMS systems across multiple client sites. Identify and implement performance improvements and essential remedial works. Conduct site surveys, prepare proposals, and quote for small works. Respond to reactive callouts and assist with commissioning of small projects. Gain hands-on experience with Trend, Tridium, and Distech systems. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience with Trend Controls and/or Tridium/Niagara. Strong understanding of HVAC plant, BMS integration, and third-party systems. Ability to modify software and schematics (Trend IQVision / 963). Proficient in SET or similar software engineering tools. Experience with Modbus, MBus, and BACnet protocols. Good knowledge of IT networks and IP configuration. Electrical bias preferred.
