Skilled Careers are working with a rapidly growing SME contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a growing pipeline of social housing refurbishment and planned works projects across North London, Harlow and surrounding areas. Job Description

  • Managing multiple social housing refurbishment projects across North London and Essex valued between £500k - £5m
  • Leading all commercial activities including CVRs, valuations, variations, subcontractor management and final accounts
  • Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships and repeat business opportunities
  • Supporting delivery of planned works programmes including roofing, FRA works, cladding, EWI, windows, doors and structural repairs
  • Collaborating within a young and energetic commercial team based between the office and local project sites across Harlow and North London

Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance projects
  • Strong commercial management experience including CVRs, valuations, variations and cost reporting
  • Experience managing multiple refurbishment schemes across London, Essex or surrounding regions
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative office culture
  • Degree qualified or equivalent within Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management preferred
