We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on a large scale R&D laboratory based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence while collaborating closely with the wider construction and MEP teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and supervise all mechanical installation works on site
- Ensure compliance with our client’s security procedures, CDM regulations, and relevant H&S standards
- Review RAMS, method statements, and ensure all processes are correctly implemented
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders
- Track progress against the construction programme and deliver regular updates
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover phases
- Maintain QA records and ensure all works meet specification and quality requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on complex construction projects
- Strong background in MEP building services installation
- Solid understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems
- Effective communicator with proven leadership and coordination capabilities
- Ability to manage subcontractors and drive on-site performance
- Experience on large industrial projects is a strong advantage
- CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates preferred
