An International, vibrant and dynamic multi-disciplinary consultancy in London are looking for an Associate Electrical Design Engineer due to securing a number of exciting and prestigious projects across the UK and Europe.
You will be working across a broad range of sectors and they are looking for a strong leader who can manage multiple projects whilst being in a client facing position to enable collaboration and a clear and rapid scheme development.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage a team of engineers to inspire them to produce clear designs on exciting projects
- Ownership of clients and projects
- Manage and control resources and fees on projects to ensure quality, accuracy and effective and timely delivery.
- Improve standards and quality of designs by providing advice and technical support to the team to achieve successful design and delivery of projects.
- Liaise with internal and external design teams, clients and other third parties.
- Lead and assist in the preparation and development of calculations, analysis, details, models, reports, schematics, specifications and layout drawings, etc.
- Team project resource costs
- Contribute to, and assist in compiling, fee bids for the firm.
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients, build on existing relationships and develop new areas of activity.
