A leading main contractor is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Technical Services Manager to join its growing Building Services team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has experience working on commercial construction projects and wants to continue developing towards becoming a fully fledged Technical Services Manager.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Technical Services professionals, supporting the coordination, delivery and management of M&E services across commercial projects.
The Role
You will assist with:
- Coordination of mechanical and electrical services
- Working closely with M&E subcontractors and consultants
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Attending design, coordination and site meetings
- Supporting quality assurance and installation inspections
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Assisting with commissioning and project handover
- Ensuring Building Services packages are delivered safely, correctly and on programme
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Previous experience with a main contractor
- Exposure to mechanical and electrical services
- A good understanding of the construction process
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- The confidence to work with subcontractors, consultants and project teams
Most importantly, this role needs someone with the right attitude.
