We are currently working with a leading service provider who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a well-established facilities services contract in the Southampton / Hampshire area on an immediate temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Account Manager to step into a live contract, stabilise service delivery and transition into a permanent role.

The Role

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the contract, acting as the primary point of contact for the client while ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Day-to-day management of a facilities management contract.
  • Acting as the main client interface and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Managing operational teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring delivery of hard and/or soft FM services (site dependent).
  • Overseeing compliance, health & safety and statutory obligations.
  • Managing budgets, cost control and reporting.
  • Monitoring KPIs, service performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting mobilisation, transition and service stabilisation.

About You

  • Proven experience in an Account Manager or Contract Manager role within FM or a service-led environment.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of FM service delivery, compliance and H&S.
  • Able to start immediately or at short notice.
  • Confident, organised and comfortable stepping into a live contract.
