We are working with a well-established, forward-thinking Building Services consultancy based in Waterloo, who are looking to add a Senior Public Health Engineer to their growing multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of Public Health systems across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, education, healthcare, high-end residential, and mixed-use developments. You will collaborate closely with MEP engineers, architects, and clients, playing a key part in innovative and sustainable design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design of public health systems including above and below ground drainage, domestic water services, and rainwater harvesting.
- Develop design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers.
- Attend project meetings, coordinate with wider design teams and manage client relationships.
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in public health design within a consultancy environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK codes and regulations (BS EN, Water Regulations, Building Regs Part G & H).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (beneficial), and calculation software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
