Contracts Manager – Essex – Regional main contractor

Skilled Careers has been appointed to identify an experienced Contracts Manager to join a rapidly expanding, family-run regional contractor based in Essex.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
• Leading a team of Site Managers and reporting directly into the Construction Director
• Ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
• Leading teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Driving operational efficiency and ensuring compliance.

The person:

• MCIOB is preferred or an equivalent construction related qualification.
• Main contracting experience – regional or tier two ideally, they will also consider up and coming Senior Site Managers & Project Managers looking for more responsibility.
• Managed multiple projects from £1M – £20M across a variety of sector ideally residential, commercial, automotive, education, leisure, and sports—covering new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments however all new build and refurb experience will be considered.
• Managed multiple site managers and reported at Director level
• Must be client facing, highly articulate both in your written reports and also verbally when communicating at all levels
• Driven, passionate, well organised.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary up to £75,000 basic (negotiable depending on experience)

• £5,000 car/travel allowance.
