Are you a reliable, hardworking CSCS Labourer with a full UK driving licence looking for consistent, local work in Swindon? We are currently recruiting a Driver / Skilled Labourer to support a leading social housing maintenance contractor. Paying an excellent rate of £17.00 per hour, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors, assisting in delivering reactive repairs, void property clearances, and material distributions across occupied and unoccupied domestic properties in the Swindon area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Support & Deliveries: Transport materials, tools, and equipment between regional supply hubs and live jobs across Swindon.
  • Property Clearance & Prep Work: Assist with void property clearance, site strip-outs, and preparing domestic homes for trade operatives (plasterers, carpenters, plumbers).
  • General Labouring Duties: Maintain tidy, safe working environments, load/unload delivery vehicles, and assist with general maintenance tasks.
  • Resident Communication: Maintain a polite, respectful presence when entering and working around resident properties and communal areas.

Candidate Requirements:

  • CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Green/Blue Card is mandatory.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence with no major endorsements.
  • Experience: Previous experience working on domestic properties, social housing maintenance, or void refurbishments is highly desirable.
  • Work Ethic: Punctual, physically fit, reliable, and comfortable taking direction from trades and site supervisors.
