Skilled Careers Birmingham office is growing and we are looking for a strong sales consultant to join the T&L team. You will be working in a team with two other consultants and a team resourcer.

About the Role

We\’re expanding our Trades & Labour team and looking for a high-level recruitment consultant who can hit the ground running, manage and grow a warm desk, and contribute strategically to the growth of the division.

Day to day

• Managing and developing a busy Trades & Labour desk
• Building strong client relationships across construction and infrastructure projects
• Winning new business and growing existing accounts
• Sourcing, screening, and placing top trades professionals
• Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team development
• Delivering on KPIs with a clear path to leadership if desired

What We\’re Looking For

• Proven billing success within trades & labour recruitment (ideally £150k+ per year)
• Confident in both candidate delivery and client acquisition
• Strong market knowledge in construction, trades, or blue-collar staffing
• Driven, ambitious, and commercially sharp
• Team player who thrives in a high-energy sales environment
