We're a well-established regional house builder with a proud reputation for crafting high-quality, individually designed homes across Norfolk and surrounding counties. As our business continues to grow, we're seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our friendly and professional team on a new residential development in Swaffham.

The Role

Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll help deliver high-specification homes on time, on budget, and to our exacting standards. You'll play a key part in daily site operations, coordinating trades, maintaining health and safety compliance, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout every stage of construction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site supervision and coordination
  • Monitoring build progress and maintaining the construction programme
  • Ensuring strict standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental control
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the in-house team
  • Assisting with customer handovers and defect management

About You

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or in a similar construction role (e.g., Foreman, Site Supervisor) ideally with experience in housing or bespoke residential development. Strong working knowledge of NHBC standards and current building regulations. Excellent organisational and communication skills. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred.
