About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi Trader to join our team, delivering essential repair and maintenance services within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work and values customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs and maintenance across various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting & decorating, and general property upkeep.
- Respond to tenants' maintenance requests promptly, ensuring high standards of workmanship and service.
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Work closely with other tradespeople, supervisors, and housing officers to complete jobs effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any additional repairs required.
Requirements & Skills:
- NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds (in any trade).
- Proven experience in multi-trade work, ideally within the social housing or property maintenance sector.
- Strong competency in at least two core trades (e.g., carpentry and plumbing).
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
