Mobile Testing & Inspection Electrician – London About us: We are a leading, accredited service provider with almost 40 years\’ experience of providing Electrical and Fire Compliance services to Housing Associations and Local Authorities across London and the South-East Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join the business and provide electrical and remedial services our housing association clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) testing and electrical testing. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients Housing Association properties. Key Responsibilities: · Conduct EICR testing and inspections to ensure all electrical installations comply with current regulations. · Perform routine electrical testing and maintenance on housing association properties. · Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner. · Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. · Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner. · Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations. · Complete EICR certifications and accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs. · Provide excellent and friendly customer service to tenants and address any electrical concerns promptly. · Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed. Qualifications: · NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. · City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection and Testing. · Proven experience in EICR testing and electrical testing. Essential: · Experience working within a housing association or similar environment. · Knowledge of current health and safety regulations. · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work under pressure. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
