projects We are urgently recruiting a
Document Controller
to join an established social housing contractor based out of
Dartford . You will take operational control of project documentation, retrofit compliance uploading, and tracker management for a high-profile, fast-paced planned maintenance and decarbonisation framework across Kent and South East London. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running with an existing knowledge of
SHDF guidelines, TrustMark uploads, and PAS compliance evidence , ensuring zero delays on project audit trails and contractor claims. Why Apply for This Role Competitive Salary:

Key Responsibilities: SHDF & PAS Compliance Management:
Collate, audit, and maintain all compliance documentation required under
PAS 2030 / PAS 2035
standards and
TrustMark
registration for SHDF schemes.
Project Document Control:
Manage, index, and upload high volumes of project records, technical surveys, handover packs, and installer sign-offs onto client document management systems and internal portals.
Tracker & Excel Management:
Build, update, and maintain complex Excel trackers to monitor project progress, missing compliance items, and audit readiness across active properties.
Stakeholder & Subcontractor Liaison:
Work closely with Retrofit Coordinators, Site Managers, and sub-contractors to chase missing evidence (photos, airtightness tests, EPCs, installer guarantees).
Reporting & Auditing:
Produce accurate weekly compliance reports for project managers and client housing associations to ensure smooth milestone sign-offs.
Mandatory Requirements & Experience: SHDF & Decarbonisation Experience (ESSENTIAL):
Proven track record as a Document Controller, Compliance Administrator, or Technical Administrator supporting
SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund)
or PAS-regulated retrofit programmes.
Compliance Knowledge:
Deep familiarity with
PAS 2030, PAS 2035, and TrustMark
reporting frameworks and documentation requirements (e.g., EWI, heat pumps, solar PV evidence packs).
Social Housing / Planned Maintenance Background:
Background working for a main contractor, housing association, or specialist retrofit installer.
Advanced Excel Skills:
Confident using VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and large datasets to manage live project trackers.
Location:
Able to commute reliably to
Dartford, Kent
for office-based working.
