We're currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong building fabric background looking to secure a long-term position within a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive building fabric repairs
- Carpentry and joinery works including doors, locks, skirting and ironmongery
- Painting, decorating and general making good
- Ceiling, flooring and partition repairs
- Basic plumbing and general maintenance duties
- Building inspections, fault finding and remedial repairs
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Technician or Multi-Trader
- Strong carpentry/joinery and building fabric experience
- Experience working within commercial Facilities Management
- Good fault-finding ability and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (if required)
- £22.00 per hour while temporary
- Permanent salary of £41,000
- Monday to Friday working pattern
