We are recruiting for an experienced Foot Mobile Engineer to join our facilities management team, covering a portfolio of commercial buildings across Central London. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple sites without the need for a vehicle.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a number of commercial properties, travelling between sites on foot and via public transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
- Fault-finding and repairs on building services (electrical or multi-skilled depending on background)
- Complete minor installation and remedial works
- Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with statutory regulations
- Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients, building managers, and colleagues
- Participate in call-out rota if required
What We're Looking For
- Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds preferred)
- 18th Edition (if electrically biased)
- Experience in commercial building maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable working in a foot mobile role across Central London
