ROLE
SkillCorner is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our football and basketball business in Turkey. You will develop the market, build long-term relationships across the professional sports ecosystem and manage opportunities from first conversation through contract, onboarding and expansion.
LOCATION
Remote in Turkey; Istanbul is preferred due to customer access and travel connections. Regular domestic and occasional international travel are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and execute a territory plan for professional clubs, leagues, federations, agencies and partners in Turkey.
- Generate, qualify and convert new opportunities through targeted outreach, referrals and industry relationships.
- Deliver consultative discovery sessions, demonstrations and commercial proposals.
- Own negotiation, contracting, forecasting and CRM discipline across the sales cycle.
- Cultivate senior relationships and identify partnership opportunities that can accelerate market access.
- Work with Customer Solutions to support successful onboarding, adoption, renewal and upsell.
- Represent SkillCorner at relevant football, basketball and sports-technology events.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven business development or B2B sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Turkish professional football and/or basketball landscape.
- Fluent Turkish and strong professional English.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working with data-led products and travelling regularly.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Existing network among Turkish clubs, federations, leagues or agencies.
- Experience selling sports data, analytics, software or services.
- Understanding of scouting, recruitment and performance-analysis workflows.
