About the Role We are seeking experienced and reliable Fire and Security Subcontractors to support our customer on their growing portfolio of installation, maintenance, and servicing projects across the North West of England. You will work on a variety of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all fire and security systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems. Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs to system components. Ensure all work complies with current legislation, industry standards (BS 5839, BS 5266, etc.), and health & safety regulations. Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation. Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery. Respond to emergency call-outs on a rotational basis (if applicable). Requirements 3 years + proven experience in fire and security systems installation and maintenance. Strong working knowledge of: Fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional) Intruder alarms (wired and wireless) CCTV systems (IP and analogue) Access control and door entry systems ECS/CSCS card (preferred) FIA certification or equivalent (advantageous) Own tools, PPE, and reliable transport. Valid public liability insurance. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
