Responsibilities:
Assisting with the maintenance and oversight of investment models and coordinating actions in line with changes made by the Investment Committee. This typically involves the coordination of large block trades and liaising with multiple stakeholders across the division.
Supporting Portfolio Managers in managing bespoke portfolios in line with clients’ investment requirements.
Supporting the Investment Committee and assisting with ad-hoc analysis for that forum.
Performing regular portfolio analysis (including risk, liquidity, and duration analysis) to ensure client portfolios are in line with the appropriate risk framework and prescribed set of guidelines.
Fielding investment and general queries from internal teams and third parties.
Providing and maintaining data to support the efficient running of the portfolio management function.
Maintaining relevant policies and procedures and assisting with other project-related tasks.
Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in the industry, with exposure to a portfolio management or investment-related function preferred.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Aptitude for ongoing personal and professional development, and willingness to pursue investment-related qualifications.
- Ability to work independently, and effectively prioritise individual responsibilities with competing workloads across the team.
- Highly diligent and exceptional level of attention to detail when working under pressure.
