Graduate Private Equity Analyst

Summary:

• Title: Graduate Private Equity Analyst (full-time, permanent)
• Location: Farringdon, London (hybrid working)
• Compensation: £40k + discretionary bonus
• Start date: June/July 2025

About Our Company:

• Based in Farringdon, London, Skill Capital is an FCA-regulated advisory business (capital raising, due diligence, headhunting, deal origination) working with the largest private equity investors in the world including multi-strategy and pure-play PE funds, pension funds, family offices and sovereign wealth funds.
• Our bespoke business model has evolved over time in conversation with our clients who see us as a specialist advisor to the private equity industry (established 1998).

The Role at Skill Capital:

• Working as a generalist across all our sectors and hybrid across all our business lines
• Researching industries, companies, management teams and private capital markets
• Supporting the development of new long-term relationships with C-suite executives
• Creating pitch documentation associated with LBO opportunities all over the world

Qualifications:

• Excellent degree in an academic subject from a top university (e.g. finance, business, economics, engineering, history, languages, etc)
• Financially astute (or has a proven interest to learn) with at least 3-6 months experience working in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance or strategy consulting
• We are looking for someone who is high-energy, personable, collaborative and curious, with strong attention to detail, to join our highly supportive and close-knit team
• Preferred to have experience that demonstrates entrepreneurial and self-starter spirit (e.g. founding or leading a university society, founding a startup, charity initiatives, etc)
• Required to have right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Process:

• Up to three 60 min first stage interviews
• 90 min final interview and case study session
