Position Responsibilities
- Creates marketing proposals, either independently or under direction of others (depending on the complexity of the proposal).
- Creates marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, and manages the interview process.
- Creates and updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, brochures, and other textual and visual materials.
- Conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects.
- Assists with development and implementation of pursuit strategies, under direction of others.
- Engaged in business plan development and supporting marketing collateral.
- Uses Salesforce as reference for SOM project facts and contributes to data maintenance.
- Develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of regional portfolio.
- Contributes to training of Marketing Coordinators, at an introductory level.
- Involved in professional associations and/or industry associations as needed.
- Assists with other duties and tasks as may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
- 3+ years experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry.
- Strong writing and graphic design skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work with senior leaders across a firm.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus.
- Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
