Position Responsibilities

  • Creates marketing proposals, either independently or under direction of others (depending on the complexity of the proposal).
  • Creates marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, and manages the interview process.
  • Creates and updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, brochures, and other textual and visual materials.
  • Conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects.
  • Assists with development and implementation of pursuit strategies, under direction of others.
  • Engaged in business plan development and supporting marketing collateral.
  • Uses Salesforce as reference for SOM project facts and contributes to data maintenance.
  • Develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of regional portfolio.
  • Contributes to training of Marketing Coordinators, at an introductory level.
  • Involved in professional associations and/or industry associations as needed.
  • Assists with other duties and tasks as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • 3+ years experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong writing and graphic design skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders across a firm.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus.
  • Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
