Are you an experienced in-house marketer who loves skiing or snowboarding? If you’re obsessed with the 'why' as much as the 'how’, and you’re happy working in a hands-on role rather than managing agencies, we want to hear from you!
Based a stone’s throw from the beach in central Hove, we're an award-winning team of passionate skiers, snowboarders and cyclists and are one of the UK's leading specialist tour operators of three successful (and growing!) travel brands: Ski Safari, Freedom Treks and Mountain Tracks.
Ski Safari specialises in extraordinary tailor-made skiing holidays to Scandinavia, North America and Asia. Freedom Treks offers a wide range of leisurely cycling and walking holidays throughout Europe and Asia. Mountain Tracks delivers exciting ski touring, off-piste and mountaineering adventures across Europe.
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll support the Head of Marketing & Growth and help us exceed our goals for 2026/27 and beyond. You’ll co-manage a team of four marketers and help define and deliver our marketing strategy across the three brands.
This is a hands-on role and is best suited to someone who is happy working across many channels and campaigns simultaneously - no day is the same! With a solid background in marketing, you’ll be able to hit the ground running and work independently.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Helping craft and execute the marketing strategy for Ski Safari and Freedom Treks
- Co-managing the marketing team including weekly 1-2-1s and quarterly performance reviews
- Coaching and developing junior team members

- Creating and sending email marketing campaigns
- Creating content for and engaging with customers on social media platforms
- Creating and managing campaigns on Google and Meta Ads
- Working with destination partners on cross-platform co-op marketing campaigns
- Analysing and producing reports on marketing activity
Technical skills & experience:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in an in-house marketing role, ideally with at least 2 years working in travel
- A thorough and up-to-date understanding of marketing strategy - you know the ‘why’, not just the what, how, where and when (and when you don’t, you make it your mission to find out)
- Able to create, manage and report on marketing campaigns across a range of channels, with a particular focus on:
- Content marketing
- Social media marketing
- Paid search
- Paid social
- Display, video and programmatic
- Exceptional writing skills - we’re advocates for writing in plain English
- Experience using these tools or similar: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and Premiere Pro), Excel, Mailchimp, Semrush, Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, Google Search Console and Hotjar
Personal skills & experience:
- A passion for skiing and/or snowboarding is essential for this role
- Highly attentive to detail, quick-thinking, and adaptable
- Independent but collaborative, able to work as a team or individually as required
- Strategic-minded and results-driven, understanding how to meet business goals
- A creative flair with the ability to turn great ideas into successful campaigns
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- You’re a lifelong learner - you attend conferences and webinars, read marketing books and blogs, listen to podcasts, and take an active interest in the latest developments in marketing
- You have personal experience of our destinations and resorts
- You have experience working in the ski industry
- You have contagious enthusiasm that encourages those around you
