Employment type: Full‑time (Mid‑Senior level)

Job function: Management and Manufacturing (Industrial Machinery Manufacturing)

Salary: Up to £45,376.20, dependent on qualifications and experience

Primary responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on equipment and machinery
  • Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce production downtime
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement safe, long‑lasting solutions
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and external contractors
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in a machine‑tool environment
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Experience with CMMS
  • 18th Edition Regs certification
  • FLT / MEWP training (advantageous)
  • Understanding of 5S and TPM practices (advantageous)

What we offer:

  • Additional shift premiums
  • 37.5‑hour week (paid breaks)
  • Company pension 10% employer contribution
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (increases to 28 days with length of service)
