An exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of geographic data acquisition, industrial inspections, and high-end aerial imagery, using unmanned aircraft (UAVs). Our business is rapidly expanding in one of the most exciting and technically challenging areas of aerospace: unmanned aviation. We are currently looking for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operator to join our team.
The position available will mainly involve offshore inspection work and detailed aerial topographical surveying, using a combination of UAVs and traditional survey methods. Further to this, you will have the opportunities to get involved with many different projects at Skeye, including, but not limited to; UAV Inspections, LiDAR technology & Drone in a Box operations. This exciting role will place the right candidate at the forefront of unmanned air systems (drones) in Europe.
The ideal candidate will have a desire for travelling around the UK and Europe to work on varied survey and inspection jobs, be able to work in a team and under their own initiative. They must be motivated, be able to complete tasks in a timely manner and have excellent communication skills.
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
- Current CAA GVC certification
- Extensive UAV flying experience
- Knowledge of UK airspace regulations
- Experience in aerial surveying techniques
- Full UK Driving license
- Working offshore and having all GWO certs
- Experience in traditional survey methods
- Fixed wing experience
