Job Brief

Sketch Trades is the marketing division of one of the Midlands’ leading creative agencies — and we’re on a mission to become the#1 marketing partner for trades and home improvement businesses in the UK.

We’re looking for a confident, motivatedMarketing Sales Executiveto join our team and help more small-to-medium trades businesses get leads, grow their reputation, and book out their calendar.

You’ll be selling a productised package thatworks- Facebook, Instagram & Google Ads, landing pages, lead automation, and CRM - all tailored to trades.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to inbound leads from paid ads, referrals, and content

• Running short discovery calls (15–30 mins max) to qualify & pitch

• Selling monthly retainers (£500–£1,500/month) with clear deliverables

• Using our proposal templates and sales workflows to close fast

• Keeping your pipeline organised and updated in our CRM

• Working closely with the founders & MD to improve scripts, results, and pitch strategy

• Supporting small businesses to scale, from 1-man-band sparkies to 10-man roofing crews

Candidate Attributes

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years sales experience

• Experience in selling Marketing, Websites & Digital Services

• Confident speaking with sole traders and small business owners

• Strong on the phone, WhatsApp, and follow-up emails

• Highly organised and reliable - you’ll manage your own pipeline

• Coachable, driven, and comfortable working to monthly revenue targets

• Straight-talking, results-focused communication style (you’ll be selling to tradespeople)
