Working in this busy vibrant bar/restaurant you will learn all the trades to become a production chef and gain your level 2 apprenticeship. This is a unique opportunity to join this fabulous and passionate team.

Join our team as an apprentice Chef, where your skills will shine. As an apprentice Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food production and safety. If you are passionate about creating delicious dishes and being an integral part of a team, this is the perfect opportunity for you..

Daily duties include:

• Preparing the dishes
• Stock taking
• Stock rotation
• Cleaning
• Pot washing
• Collaborate with management to plan menus, specials, and events
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies
• Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Entry requirements

Math and English Grade 4/C are desirable but not essential

Training to be Provided

Math and English functional skills if required.

Things to consider

Please check the route and how you will get to the Alma Tavern as there is little or no bus service after 7pm.Working in a kitchen environment can be hot and physically demanding.

Once you have completed your apprenticeship there may be further career enhancements and a full time position.
