Based in Appledore, North Devon, we have been delivering outdoor activities, experiential learning and development training since 1976. We teach new skills, build confidence, fulfil your sense of adventure, and ensure you have boatloads of fun!

As a Level 4 Hospitality Manager, you will be a highly motivated team leader, combining a talent for management and hospitality skills and thriving on the customer facing nature of the role. In this exciting and varied role, you will develop your skills and gain valuable experience in how to lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.
Able to work under pressure, you will learn how to manage hospitality services, taking on a high level of responsibility that is aligned to business vision and objectives. You will complete a nationally recognised qualification working alongside our experienced team.
The ideal candidate should be able to work alone and in a team, use their initiative and be proactive in their approach to work. You will also need to demonstrate:

This apprenticeship will be for 9 months duration.
Entry requirements:
- Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE Grade 4) is desirable; however, we can provide Functional Skills as part of your development plan.
- Significant prior experience within the Hospitality sector and in supervising staff is required for this career step into a leadership role.

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. As you progress through your apprenticeship, your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in hospitality. Training will be a mix of face-to-face and online learning. You will gain a Level 4 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship Qualification and Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
Things to consider:
- Contracted Hours are 30 hours per week. You will be on a rota with some split-shifts required (7 amβ11 am and 3β7 pm) 5 out of 7 days per week.
- A driving licence and car would be an advantage due to shift times, as bus timetables donβt always align with working times.
- We are looking for candidates who want a long-term management career within the Hospitality sector. Further training and next level qualifications are available.
