We are looking for a creative and ambitious Digital Content & Design Apprentice to join Livewire Telecom and work directly alongside their Lead Designer.

This is a hands-on creative role covering graphic design, video, social media, e-commerce and digital content.

You will be supported and trained by their Lead Designer while completing a Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship.

As your skills develop, we want you to progress from supporting the creative team to taking responsibility for your own designs, videos and campaigns.

What You’ll Work On

Your day-to-day work will include

  • Creating graphics for Tik Tok Shop and Tik Tok campaigns
  • Designing promotional graphics for e Fones and e Homes
  • Creating and editing short-form Tik Tok videos
  • Producing Instagram Reels and social video content
  • Editing longer-form You Tube content
  • Creating You Tube thumbnails
  • Designing website banners and promotional assets
  • Producing and improving product images
  • Creating graphics and assets for livestreams
  • Designing content for major sales events and brand campaigns
  • Creating social media posts
  • Supporting product photography and video shoots
  • Editing photography and video
  • Creating storyboards and concepts before shoots
  • Developing motion graphics and basic animation
  • Adapting brand assets for different platforms
  • Working with our creators and livestream team to capture content
  • Organising and maintaining our library of creative assets

A major part of the role will be creating content for social commerce.

You’ll learn how creative content isn’t just about making something look good — it also needs to attract attention, communicate a product quickly and ultimately help generate sales.

You’ll work on Tik Tok Shop campaigns and livestreams and will be able to see how the content you create performs with real audiences.

Livewire works with major consumer technology brands and operates some of the UK’s leading technology livestream and social-commerce channels.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on real brand campaigns, product launches, promotional events and high-volume Tik Tok Shop campaigns.

This gives you the opportunity to build a professional portfolio while completing your apprenticeship.

You will work closely with our Lead Designer, learning how professional creative work moves from an initial brief through to finished content.

This will include

  • Understanding a creative brief

  • Preparing final assets
  • Delivering content for different platforms

Initially, you’ll support the Lead Designer on projects. As your skills and confidence grow, you’ll increasingly take ownership of your own work.

Skills You’ll Develop

During the apprenticeship you’ll develop practical experience in

  • Graphic Design - Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and other creative tools.
  • Video Production - Filming, editing, lighting, sound and producing content for different platforms.
  • Video Editing - Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, After Effects or similar professional creative software.
  • Social Media - Creating content specifically for Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and other social platforms.
  • E-commerce - Creating product imagery, banners, promotional graphics and content designed to help customers make purchasing decisions.
  • Branding - Working within brand guidelines while developing creative ideas appropriate for different brands.
  • AI & Creative Technology - Using modern AI and creative tools to improve workflows, generate ideas and increase the speed of content production.
  • Content Performance - Understanding how views, engagement, clicks and sales can be used to judge whether creative content has been successful.
  • Entry requirements

We’re not expecting you to arrive as a fully trained designer.

We’re looking for someone who has creative ability and genuinely wants to develop it.

You should

  • Have a strong interest in graphic design and video
  • Enjoy Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and digital content
  • Have a good visual eye
  • Be interested in photography and video
  • Understand what makes social content interesting
  • Be willing to learn new software
  • Be comfortable receiving constructive feedback
  • Be organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Be willing to try new ideas
  • Be interested in how AI is changing design and content creation

Previous experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva or Cap Cut would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

A portfolio isn’t required to contain professional client work.

Personal designs, photography, Tik Tok videos, You Tube videos, college work or other creative projects are all welcome.

A drivers license for this role is essential.

Pragramme Duration: 13 month practical and 12 week End Point Assessment.

Things to consider

On completion of the programme, you will be awarded a Level 3 Institute for Apprenticeships Content Creator apprenticeship certificate.

We’re looking at this as the beginning of someone’s career rather than simply filling a temporary apprenticeship position.

By the end of the apprenticeship, our aim is for you to be capable of independently creating professional digital content across graphics, video, social media and e-commerce.

For the right person, there will be an opportunity to develop into a permanent role within our creative team.
