We are seeking a proactive Marketing Apprentice to support marketing and business development activities. This hands‑on role will provide practical experience across digital marketing, content creation, customer communications and market research within a manufacturing B2B environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support creation of marketing materials: case studies, product datasheets, brochures and email campaigns.
- Assist with website updates and basic content management (CMS).
- Produce and schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, industry platforms) and monitor engagement.
- Help prepare sales collateral, presentations and trade show materials.
- Conduct competitor and market research; compile insight reports.
- Support CRM maintenance: update records, log leads and assist with email campaigns.
- Assist with photography of products and shop‑floor for marketing use.
- Track simple marketing metrics and prepare basic performance summaries.
- Work with suppliers/agencies and internal teams to coordinate campaigns.
- Formal apprenticeship with an approved training provider.
- On‑the‑job mentoring from Marketing and Sales leads.
- Exposure to sales, engineering and production to understand our product and customer needs.
Skills & attributes
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Organised, reliable and keen to learn.
- Basic IT skills (MS Office); willingness to learn CMS, CRM and simple design tools (Canva/Photoshop).
- Interest in B2B marketing and manufacturing.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
Qualifications
- A‑levels, BTEC or equivalent; or relevant school/college qualifications.
- No prior marketing experience required—motivated candidates encouraged to apply.

- Reports to the MD.

Training to be provided
You will be completing Level 3 Multi‑Channel Marketer Apprentice. As a Multi‑Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi‑channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. You will be responsible for delivering day‑to‑day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work‑based training, independent research, workplace projects, one‑to‑one support and training. Your training will include:
- Marketing Principles & Theory
- Branding Theory and Effective Communication
- Research Methodologies and Competitor Analysis
- Understanding Business Vision and Objectives

The Multi‑Channel Marketer apprenticeship includes an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:
- Producing a written Report
- Portfolio of evidence based work
- Presentation and Q&A
- Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
