Provide administrative support for the Academic Services team and be responsible for areas within Registry Academic Services, primarily the student records and assessment records for students. Key responsibilities include:
- Collating and storing highly confidential documentation
- Communicating with staff across the organisation and partner institutions
- Inputting data onto a Student Records System (Thesis) and other systems as required
- Checking reports for accuracy and highlighting any errors or discrepancies
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy when updating systems
- Involvement in the organisation and operation of various ceremonies/events
- Dealing with queries by e-mail and face-to-face from academic and administrative colleagues and students in relation to Academic Services
- Working flexibly during peak periods as necessary
- Undertaking other appropriate duties as required by the Assistant Registrar
Requirements:
- Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, within the requirements of GDPR
- Ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve matters
