Job Role and Responsibilities:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 0–5 years. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering age‑appropriate, creative, and engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team
  • Promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
  • Contributing to team meetings, training, and continuous professional development
  • Supporting the nursery’s values of inclusivity, kindness, and community

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education (or working towards)
  • Passionate about working with young children and supporting their development
  • Friendly, nurturing, and approachable
  • A strong team player with good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledgeable about EYFS principles, safeguarding, and health & safety

Entry requirements:

  • GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in English & Maths
  • Lived within the UK for a minimum of 3 years
  • Full & Relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years

Skills required:

  • Creative
  • Initiative

Training to be provided:

  • Pediatric First Aid
