We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support children's development through engaging activities, nurturing care, and effective management of daily routines. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 0–5 years. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate, creative, and engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Supporting children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development
  • Observing and assessing children’s progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team
  • Promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
  • Contributing to team meetings, training, and continuous professional development
  • Supporting the nursery’s values of inclusivity, kindness, and community

Entry requirements: GCSE or equivalent (required) 4 and higher (C and higher). Candidate must also have DBS certification.

Skills required: Customer care skills, Creative.

Things to consider: A valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation needs related to the role. There may be future employment opportunities upon completion of the apprenticeship.
