The Banks Group is a family business based in County Durham, specializing in property development and housebuilding across the North of England and Scotland. We are seeking a Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join our growing apprenticeship programme. This role offers a clear path to a Level 3 or Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship, with on-site training, coursework and assessments to develop your skills and knowledge in site management.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support site managers on development sites throughout the Northeast
- Gain knowledge of project delivery, including health, safety, environmental standards, programme, budget, time, quality, design, technical and customer service aspects
- Support the construction of high-quality, sustainable homes that meet the needs of our customers
Entry Requirements
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4-9 (or Scottish National 5 if based in Scotland)
- Plus 1 A Level or 2 AS Levels (40 points) or BTEC National in a relevant construction/engineering qualification, or T-Level, or an equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to our sites
- Genuine interest in developing a career within construction and site management
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a hands-on environment
