Are you looking to start your career in digital marketing? McCarthy & Stone are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive Apprentice to join their Group Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to build practical digital marketing skills while gaining valuable workplace experience.

As part of this apprenticeship, you will be enrolled on a recognised Digital Marketing qualification, providing structured learning alongside hands-on experience across website management, content creation, SEO, digital campaigns and email marketing support. Working closely with experienced marketing professionals, you will receive training, mentoring and support to develop your skills and confidence. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent Digital Marketing Executive role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Content Management
    • Update and maintain website content using our Content Management System (CMS)
    • Ensure property and development information is accurate, up to date and presented consistently
    • Assist with creating and updating floor plans, site maps and development information
    • Support website testing and quality assurance activities
    • Help identify and report website issues, escalating where appropriate
    • Work with marketing colleagues to keep website content current and relevant
  • You will learn how to:
    • Optimise website content for search engines through page titles, headings, metadata and image descriptions
    • Support the creation and updating of website content, landing pages, promotions and campaigns
    • Use digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and SEO platforms to monitor website performance
    • Identify opportunities to improve website visibility and user experience
  • Email Marketing
    • Assist in the creation, scheduling and deployment of email marketing campaigns
    • Support the production of engaging email content, including copy, imagery and calls to action
    • Build and maintain email templates in line with brand guidelines
    • Help segment customer databases to ensure relevant and targeted communications
    • Monitor campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates and conversions
    • Assist with A/B testing subject lines, content and email layouts to improve engagement
    • Ensure customer data is managed in line with GDPR and company policies
  • General Responsibilities
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Sales and Digital teams
    • Support digital marketing campaigns and initiatives
    • Follow brand guidelines and digital best practice
    • Participate fully in apprenticeship learning activities and coursework
    • Share ideas and contribute to continuous improvement projects
    • Develop knowledge and skills through training, coaching and practical experience
