Job summary
As part of NHSE Capacity and Access work, we are looking for a Salaried GP to work 3 to 4 sessions a week. We are a 9500 patient practice supported by 3 partners, 4 ACP/Pharmacist/ANP's. 3 practice nurses, 1 nurse associate and 3 HCA's. We have 2 sites, Skelmanthorpe and Denby Dale.
Main duties of the job
The role will be supporting the Capacity and Access agenda allowing patients to have same day access where required. Dealing with both on the day and some pre-bookable appointments.
About us
The practice has an excellent blend of experience and willingness to work as a team supporting supporting each other on the day to day work that is presented to the practice. We have a fully staff reception team which again has lots of General practice experience and younger members of staff that have come through an apprenticeship scheme. We are a friendly and welcoming practice.

Person Specification
Experience
Essential
- GMC registered general practitioner
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
Desirable
- Good clinical and consultation skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload independently
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care
- Good communication and teamwork skill
