Join Skegness Pier, one of Lincolnshire’s most recognisable seafront attractions. Our hospitality outlets are an important part of the guest experience, providing excellent service, refreshments, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors throughout the year.

As a Bar Supervisor, you will support the daily running of the Pier’s bars and hospitality venues, helping to lead the team, maintain high service standards, and ensure guests receive a first-class experience.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day running of the bar operations and hospitality venues.
  • Supervise and support bar team members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout operating hours.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Complete daily paperwork, cash handling, reporting, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Carry out opening and closing procedures, including till reconciliation and venue security checks.
  • Ensure licensing laws, food hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety standards are consistently maintained.
  • Support stock control, stock rotation, and stock-check procedures to maintain product availability.
  • Assist management with team supervision, team motivation, and workflow organisation during busy service periods.
  • Help maintain a positive atmosphere within the bar and always ensure high presentation standards.

Experience and Skills
  • Previous supervisory experience within a bar, pub, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience serving drinks and working in busy bar or food service environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations, food hygiene, and health & safety standards is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Experience with cash handling and till operation is advantageous.

Work Schedule
