Skegness Academy are looking to appoint an outstanding, committed, and motivated Teacher of Maths to join our academy in September 2026 on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed to students’ learning in ensuring all students achieve their full potential by consistently delivering engaging lessons at a high standard. The successful candidate will join a faculty of supportive like-minded teachers who share the same vision to inspire our students to reach their full potential.
We are looking for someone who has a real passion for Maths and their teaching and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a range of skills and experiences that they can bring to our school to complement our current talented team of teachers. This role would equally suit an ambitious ECT or an experienced teacher.
About us: Skegness Academy is a Secondary Academy located in Skegness. All staff at the academy have high expectations and strive for quality and consistency so there are aspects of lessons which young people will see regardless of their age, ability or subject; they will always know what they are learning, why it is relevant and how they will know if they have succeeded. With ever-changing specifications weighted towards exams at the end of the course, it is very important that our preparation for exams is a marathon and not a sprint which is why we start early, building the knowledge, skills and resilience that our students need to succeed in life after compulsory schooling.
