We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our team here at Skegby Junior Academy! We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to deliver high-quality learning. This role involves covering classes during planned and unplanned absences, including PPA, managing pupil behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment to enable every child to be the best they can be, every day!

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and maintain classroom discipline.
  • Liaise with teachers and senior leaders to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Provide 1:1 mentoring and targeted support to improve pupil attainment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
  • Assist with all aspects of the school day when classroom cover is not required.

Qualifications/Certifications

Must be educated up to GCSE grade C/4 level in English and mathematics, have a level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent experience.
