We are supporting a specialist unlicensed medicines provider that is expanding its commercial team and looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager with strong hospital-focused sales experience. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across NHS and private hospital accounts, developing new opportunities, and strengthening long-term partnerships within the unlicensed and named-patient supply space.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a UK-wide sales strategy for unlicensed medicines
  • Build and manage relationships with hospital pharmacy teams, procurement, and key clinical stakeholders
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
  • Work closely with internal procurement, quality, and operations teams to ensure compliant service delivery
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
  • Represent the business professionally within the UK healthcare market

Ideal background:

  • Proven B2B sales experience within unlicensed medicines or specialist pharmaceutical supply
  • Strong track record selling into NHS and/or private hospitals
  • Commercially driven with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable operating in a field-based, UK-wide role
  • Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and service-led sales

Package:

  • £60,000 - £65,000 base salary
  • Performance-related bonus
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
