We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technical Manager to join our Building Services team in London.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and assure electrical Safe Systems of Work (SSoW); deliver training for Authorised and Competent Persons.
  • Provide technical oversight by inspecting works, investigating incidents and ensuring compliance actions are closed out.
  • Support MEP and FM teams during new project onboarding, identifying and managing electrical risks early.
  • Set clear electrical safety and compliance priorities; provide expert guidance to project and technical teams.
  • Challenge electrical designs and delivery approaches to improve buildability and reduce whole‑life cost.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical processes, documentation and OWOW SSoW.

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential experience and knowledge

  • Expert understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition).
  • Proven experience implementing electrical Safe Systems of Work.
  • Strong knowledge of Emergency Lighting regulations.
  • Working knowledge of BS 8519.

Qualifications and background

  • Electrical trade background with appropriate technical training.
  • C&G Inspection & Testing.
  • AM2 qualification.
  • Previous experience as an Authorised Person (AP).
  • Appointed Qualified Supervisor or ability to act as one.

Desirable

  • Experience or willingness to develop knowledge of HTMs and JSPs.
  • Confident using Excel and Power BI for data and reporting.
  • Experience with SharePoint including automation and dashboards.
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
